Brittany + David: Gover Ranch Wedding

Brittany and David's wedding was absolutely beautiful! Gover Ranch is one of my favorite venues and I absolutely love taking photos there! This wedding was a little special because Brittany's family just so happens to own the ranch! They have done so many great things with the venue and it was the perfect place for Brittany and David to tie the knot. These two are so adorable together! Their engagement photos were so fun and their wedding was off the charts!

Congratulations, Brittany and David! Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautiful day!

What's new??

Since going full-time in my photography, I have been able to dream and create all the things I just didn't have time to do before. I love being a photographer, but I also love being a business owner! Sure, figuring out how to pay all the bills and navigating all the legal aspects of a business is harder than I imagined (taxes, EW!), but in the end I still enjoy my business. I knew I needed to do something big to kick-start my full-time business and take it to the next level. So I've made some changes...

My first step was to re-brand. I contacted Alyssa, of Alyssa Joy & Co, for some help on developing  a clear look for my business. She developed some amazing things for me and listened to every picky comment I had about colors and graphics and created beautiful logos and much more. I am so thankful to her for taking my random thoughts and creating a great brand for me. If you are looking to develop branding for your business be sure to contact her! She not only created custom patterns, stationary, and designs for me, but a new logo and business cards!

With Alyssa's help designing my logo and other things, I was able to focus on perfecting the Holly Kiker Photography client experience. When I'm not taking photos or editing, I've been spending most of my time on creating a wedding guide for my brides and grooms. Planning a wedding is hard work and I want my couples to have a great experience when planning, so I've made this guide to help them out. I am SO excited about it! It is filled with information about timelines, what to wear to an engagement session, tips on having a First Look, ceremony FAQs, reception tips, and SOO much more! All of my 2018 couples will be getting this guide! So if you want this awesome guide and amazing photos, let me know! ;)

Another thing I'll be changing about Holly Kiker Photography is blogging... Currently I'm just blogging photoshoots and weddings and even these blogs happen sporadically. However, now I will be posting a blog every Wednesday! These blogs won't just be photos, but also have great tips on anything wedding or photography related. Whether you need help figuring out what to wear to your family portrait session or you need to plan the perfect bridal shower; I'll be writing about it all! Of course, I'm a photographer first; blogger second. So there will still be plenty of beautiful photos from weddings and photo shoots on the blog!

And last but CERTAINLY not least... I am now serving the brides and grooms of Napa and Sonoma Counties without a travel fee! That's right! If you are getting married in these beautiful places you will have the same price as couples in my local area. These areas are my second home and I absolutely love photographing beautiful weddings in the area! And if you aren't getting married, but still want photos in Napa or Sonoma, just let me know! I'm in the area often and would love to schedule a session with you!

Alright... I think thats all for now.... :)

Thank you so much for your support. My business just wouldn't be able to grow the way it has without you!

Megan + Brandon: Indian Creek Lodge Wedding

Megan and Brandon were married along the Trinity River at the Indian Creek Lodge in an emotional ceremony that ended in fireworks. And I mean ACTUAL fireworks! As tears fell the entire ceremony a guest sat in waiting to throw some fireworks up at the alter during the first kiss. To say it was unexpected is an understatement. So happy I wasn't frightened so badly that I missed their hysterical reactions!

Megan + Brandon thank you so much for having me as a part of your wedding day! There was never a dull moment; what a party!
